Where It All Began
Shivamanohari School of performing arts is one of the most sought out Kuchipudi Dance Institutions in North America. A brain child of Smt Gomathi Boorada, the institute is dedicated to providing quality education and opportunities for aspiring artists. Founded in 2006, Shivamanohari is dedicated to teaching the skills and providing the hands-on experience necessary for successful futures, both personally and professionally.

We believe art is as important as education. We are honoured that our students excel not only as working professionals, but professional Kuchipudi artists as well. Art is a medium to transfer knowledge and culture to the next generation. Based in Canada, our core goal is to pass down our art form for generations to come.

Our Company Team travels frequently, making our mark in countries such as Canada, the United States, India, Indonesia and the United Kingdom. The team presents not only the traditional Kuchipudi repertoire, but also full length Nritya Natakams (dance theatre productions) and original choreographies of Guru Smt. Gomathi Boorada.
